Terms of use

Short version. Fly fair, be decent to other pilots, and remember it's a simulator in beta. You can play without an account, and you can delete yours at any time.

Who runs Ledroon

Ledroon is a small independent project. Questions about these terms: contact@ledroon.site. How we handle your data is on the Privacy page.

By playing Ledroon you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.

The beta

Ledroon is in beta and free. Things change: drones, maps, physics, leaderboards and features can be added, changed or removed, and the game can be unavailable now and then. We do our best to keep your results and settings, but in a beta we can’t promise that nothing is ever lost or reset.

Your account

  • You can fly without an account. An account is needed for online leaderboards, multiplayer, leagues and events.
  • One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • If you are under 15, ask a parent, guardian or teacher before you make an account.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.

Names and chat

Your pilot name, your best times and the replays of your best runs are public. Choose a name and write chat that you’d be fine with anyone seeing:

  • no insults, harassment, hate, threats, sexual content or spam;
  • don’t pretend to be someone else (another pilot, a YouTuber, a brand, or the people who run Ledroon);
  • no personal details of yourself or others (real addresses, phone numbers and the like).

We can rename an account, remove chat, names or results, or block an account that breaks these rules.

Fair play

Leaderboards, leagues and events are only fun if everyone flies for real. So:

  • no modified game files, scripts, bots, speed hacks, or sending made-up results to the server;
  • no exploiting bugs to get times or points you didn’t fly (tell us about them instead);
  • no extra accounts to push your own results, report other pilots’ runs or get around a block.

Runs that place high are checked automatically against their replays, and other pilots can report runs they think are fake. Runs that fail the checks or are confirmed as cheating are hidden or removed. A pilot caught cheating can be banned. A ban takes you out of leaderboards, leagues, events, titles and chat for good: other pilots no longer see your results, you don’t place in leagues or the Friday Night Race and don’t get their rewards, and other pilots don’t see your chat. You keep playing everything else: flying, training, every map, your replays, your own results, parties with friends by code, your settings, and Pilot if you buy it. An admin can lift a ban; write to contact@ledroon.site if you think yours is a mistake. Records of these decisions are kept even if the account is deleted, so that deleting an account doesn’t wipe a ban, and the name of an account deleted while banned stays reserved (nobody can register it) until the ban is lifted. See the privacy page.

What you make

Your replays, clips and results are yours. By saving them online you let us store them and show them in the game (on leaderboards, as ghosts other pilots can race, on the TV view of events, and in highlights of the week). You can delete them with your account.

Multiplayer

In multiplayer you connect directly to the other players in your room, so they can see your IP address, as with most online games. Only join rooms of people you’re happy to play with.

It’s a simulator

Ledroon models real drones as well as it can, but it is a game. Flying well in Ledroon doesn’t mean you may or can fly a real drone. In the real world, follow your country’s drone rules (in the EU: registration, the A1/A2/A3 categories, no-fly zones), fly only where it’s allowed and never over people.

Places in the real world are drawn from open map data and may be wrong or out of date. Flying somewhere in the game doesn’t mean you may fly there for real.

Purchases later

Ledroon is free during the beta. When the paid “Pilot” unlock comes, its own terms (price, what it includes, refunds) will be shown before you buy. Beta players get a thank-you at launch, as promised on the home page.

Real drones and brands

Drone names describe the real aircraft the sim models. Ledroon is not affiliated with DJI, BetaFPV, GEPRC, iFlight, Armattan, DarwinFPV or any other brand named in the game.

What we can’t promise

We provide Ledroon “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost results, for the game being unavailable, or for anything that happens because of using it. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law of your country as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so on the website or in the game. Playing after the change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by Czech law.
